About me
Hey there! As a master gardener and homesteader with over 10 years of experience, I’ve built a life rooted in sustainable living, growing nourishing food, and embracing the beauty of working with my hands in the soil. My family and I share a 4-acre farm with our 30+ chickens, ducks, and a “mostly” lovable potbelly pig named “Blue”. Beyond my own homestead, I am blessed to work at a 150-acre organic dairy farm and restaurant, tending the chef’s garden.
As a mother and grandmother, I cherished the years I spent homeschooling my children, and bring all of this experience into my work - blending education, sustainability, and a deep love of growing food. I’m passionate about feeding families well, getting outside in the sunshine, and helping others cultivate their own thriving gardens.
Through my garden consultation company Farmette Co., I’m here to help others cultivate their own thriving gardens - whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gardener looking to expand your growing journey. When I’m not in the garden, you’ll find me traveling the world finding inspiration and exploring independent bookstores everywhere I go.
